Nevada September revenue: Total gaming win of $1.27bn

Nevada’s gaming licensees reported total gaming win of $1.27bn for the month of September 2023. This amounts to a 2% increase compared to September 2022. For the fiscal year (July 1 2023 through September 30 2023), gaming win increased by 3%.

Clark County (which includes Las Vegas) grossed the most, bringing in $1.1bn of total win, up 3% year-on-year. Of the revenue in this area, the Las Vegas Strip accounted for $741.2m, up 3% when compared to September 2022. 

The area with the highest positive percentage change year-on-year was Downtown, rising 7% to $741.2m. However the area with the highest negative percentage change, when compared to the same period in 2022, was North Lake Tahoe, decreasing by 11% to $2.6m. North Lake Tahoe also brought in the least revenue compared to all other areas in the State.

Year-to-date, the Las Vegas Strip also collected the highest positive percentage in total win. The Las Vegas Strip rose 5% to $2.24bn during the fiscal year. Meanwhile,Play Casino Online the highest negative percentage change year-to-date was from North Lake Tahoe, decreasing 7% to $83.8m.

Overall, only the Las Vegas Strip, Laughlin, Wendover and Carson Valley area saw increased percentage changes during September in Nevada.

During the month of October, the State collected $77.6m in taxes, generated off revenue occurred in September. The taxes collected during this period decreased by 4% when compared to the previous financial year.

The amount made in taxes also decreased when compared to the previous month of August, when taxes were collected in September, by 2% from $75.8m.
